Here is a fun family shoot I had with Sarah Catherine and Eric and their sweet family.  Even though they do not live here, they still come to town to see family.  I love hanging out with these wonderful people.

This next picture is one I had in mind when I talked with Sarah Catherine on the phone.  I asked her if she had capes for the boys.  She said yes and I knew I wanted to capture this image of brothers playing and pretending.

Sarah Catherine is such a beautiful person inside and out and it is an honor to call her my friend.  She is a wonderful mother and it is her birthday today!

This year I donated a photo session to our school’s silent action and that is how I got to meet this fun family.  We had a fun morning running around this fun location.  So loved meeting them!  It was a joy to capture these moments for them.

We climbed trees and she became Tinkerbell.  So cute!

We also got in the little creek.  Good thing I wore my big boots:)

These beautiful sisters live in FL and they are my nieces!  We celebrated Thanksgiving in FL this week and this photo shoot has been planned for many months.  I could not wait to run around downtown St. Pete and have fun with these girls.  Alex was very tiny when she was the flower girl in our wedding many years ago and Lindsay was not even walking when I joined the family.  I have loved watching them grow up into smart, beautiful young ladies.  What an honor to capture some of the beauty that radiates from these two!

Beautiful girls! They both did such a great job modeling too!

This next one is one of my favorites!  I just love it.

Oh, and did I mention Alex won 3rd place in the State of FL for Cross Country  for all the High School girls a week ago?  So proud of all the hard work she did to get this medal.  She is only a junior this year.  Watch out next year:)

Chelsey + Fletcher | East Nashville Wedding Photographer

I had the great honor to be the photographer for our good friends Chelsey and Fletcher a few weeks ago.  They had a sweet little wedding in East Nashville.  They had the reception at a wonderful restaurant called Marche. It was a beautiful day and such a lovely celebration with amazing food and lots of toast of love for the couple.

Chelsey is a beautiful person inside and out.  She looked stunning doesn’t she?

We have know Fletcher and Chelsey for years and we are so happy for he and Chelsey.

Chelsey’s mom arranged the flowers and she did a beautiful job.

I am so happy to show you this little miracle of Adoption!  This is Lorelei and Mandy and Eric just adopted her a few weeks ago.  We know this couple from church and have prayed for God to bring them a child for a long time. Here she is and oh so beautiful! She was 4 months when she came to them so we did not waste any time getting her into my studio to capture this beautiful time.  Mandy worked hard and even got her to go to sleep for us.

 

It makes me want to just weep with joy looking at these pictures again and remembering how wonderful God’s plan is for them in giving them this sweet girl.
